More Thorns than Anticipated
I play this piece on the harp, so I cant judge piano difficulty (though its quite easy on the harp). I was pretty disappointed in this piece. After I saw the trailer, I waited and waited for the sheet music to come out. I was very excited when I finally bought it. However, the brevity of this piece took me by surprise (only 2 pages). It is barely a minute long, and I feel like the piano arrangement doesnt completely capture the emotion in the trailer. It is a beautiful, emotional piece, I admit. But if youre looking for music to perform for an audience or are being paid, I would suggest not purchasing this piece. Its just too short. Instead, consider buying the original piece, "Beauty and the Beast (Prologue)" or "Evermore" from the new version (thought I favor the former). They both are longer and contain the same similar motif. If you are buying a piece to learn piano, or you just like to play for fun or relaxation, then this piece may work for you.
