The Hill by Marketa Irglova
This is Marketas composition and arrangement, and since it is sung on stage with her character "the girl" singing alone while playing the accompaniment on the piano, this is basically perfection. It is exquisite in melody and accompaniment. A real winner. And the originaly key - G minor - is very comfortable for singing, especially for an alto. Any additions or subtractions from the arrangement would damage it.
