This song is great, but can be a little bit of a challenge to play. This song changes key about 2 or 3 times, so be careful! Superman Theme is written beautifully, that it is flowing and constantly moving to the intro to the end. This is a great song to play!!

This is a very simple arrangement. Apparently the publisher in an attempt to simplify the rhythms (The switch from 12/8 to 4/4) made them worse ad less interesting to play. A lot key option of the theme have been removed. The entire peiece could have been published in 4/4.

I arrange string quartet music from the piano reductions that are created for popular music. The arrangement created for the Superman Theme is not too bad. However, the build up in the instrumentation before the main theme comes in was missing which I ended up adding by ear from listening to the original score. In addition to that, there were some "background" notes that werent added during the main theme that are quite audible in the original score and sound like they are missing from the arrangement here. Again, I added them based on the original score that I listened to. Creating string quartet arrangements of music, I pride myself on making them sound as close to the original music as possible for my clients. If the people arranging these songs/pieces would listen (or read) just a little more closely to the originals, they could add the necessary details that make these musical masterpieces what they are. Otherwise it is a good arrangement for piano. Sorry. Just being nit-picky. This isnt the only arrangement that I feel this way about. K. Barg

This does not contain the whole Williams piece. Dont buy if you want the whole Superman them. Good for a beginner.
