And I Love Her (Pat Metheny, guitar arrangement)
I play the keyboard, primarily. It does not keep me from buying sheet music which is written primarily for guitar and this is especially true for artists like Pat Metheny, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and other great guitarists. Guitarists: If you like Pat Methenys guitar work, you should also seriously consider purchasing his beatiful arrangement of "Thats The Way I Always Heard It Should Be"; it is an extremely beautiful arrangement of the lovely and emotive Carly Simon song. "And I Love Her" is the same kind of beautiful, moving, emotive song and this guitar arrangement is excellent. I happen to enjoy playing this guitar arrangement on a Roland digital keyboard, as it has nice musical embellishments and added riffs/grace notes which you wont find in the standard/generic versions of this song). I have the sheet music to several Pat Metheny songs (Letter From Home is another beautiful gem of a song for the keyboard) and I would highly recommend any of his arrangements to both guitar players and keyboard players.
