"Va, pensiero", also known as the "Choir of Hebrew Slaves", is a choir from the third act of the opera Nabucco by Giuseppe Verdi, inspired by Psalm 137. Known as the work of art Verdi's "Jew", the choir recalls the story of Jewish exiles in Babylon after the loss of the First Temple in Jerusalem.
