Almost 15 years ago I warmed up to play the violin with the beginning of this piece, which I spontaneously arranged in my mind. Although I never played the Bach Sonata II (BWV 1003), I was very fascinated of the technique of the Andante, so I tried to arrange the “Air” in a similar way.
