Gabrielle Fauré was an amazing French composer and this is an absolutely stunning piece which is done by many instruments in various ways. This is a tried and true vocal piece for classical singers or students. The poetry deals with the aftermath of waking from a beautiful dream and wishing to return to sleep to regain the dream. Absolutely lovely.

Im really glad that I was able to transpose this song into a higher key to fit my voice. Its a beautiful song with great arrangements!

The layout of the music made it very easy to learn quickly, even just sight-reading the first couple of times. In terms of difficulty, its challenging as far as pronuncation and some rhythms. Overall- great recital piece!
