Simone Collins is a West Australian organist, pianist and singer. As a child, Simone regularly won her local Yamaha Electone Festival heats, playing her own arrangements. She twice was selected to go on to the State Finals, the first at just 10 years of age, before retiring from competitions at age 14. Simone has taught piano and electronic organ for over 30 years. She has been nominated for the ARIA Music Teacher of the Year award, and was recognised by the Australian Guild of Music and Speech as the Top Teacher for 2023, teaching the student who received the highest marks at the highest level (Associate Diploma). Simone regularly arranges music for herself and her students, from complete beginners through to advanced levels.
