The Lord gave me the opportunity to begin serving as a church pianist while I was in seventh grade. My piano teacher had to move and fortunately she had just taught me how to improvise from the hymnal! Being thrust into such a position gave me an immediate desire to learn much in a short amount of time! (It was nice to have dad as my music director) I was also blessed with six years worth of piano teachers which prepared me for this moment. I thank God for allowing me the opportunity to have had piano lessons and for my parents investing in piano lessons for me. My Music History Pianist for all school programs during my high school years Began composing music in 7th grade Published works through Sheet Music Plus, Soundforth/Lorenz Publishing Corporation Started teaching private lessons at age 16 Received six accumulative years of piano training by excellent teachers
